Dan King has been a musical mainstay around Cape Ann, Massachusetts and Beyond for over Thirty years. 
 

Dan is a writer, musician, performer, and producer who has worked with countless musicians and artists over a long and varied career.   His original band of 20 plus years KBMG featured musical luminaries David Brown, Dave Mattacks, and Wolf Ginandes, who's resume together features an A list of musical folk, pop, and rock history. Their final 2025 release King Brown Mattacks Ginandes completed after the untimely death of David Brown in 2024, is now available for streaming worldwide on all major services. 

Performing Solo Acoustic has been a constant aspect of Dan's Live repertoire where he enjoys the freedom of curating each setlist according to the environment, though always rooted in his favorite folk, country, and blues style.   Dan is also known for writing and producing The Bandit Kings four releases which are still featured on Sirius XM, having performed from Los Angeles to Boston. His work with Artist Jon Sarkin (represented in London, New York, Netherlands), producing Safety 80s Dance, and Dan's bass playing with reggae locals are just a few more examples of a well rounded and interesting well of musical and artistic knowledge that Dan is always expanding.  His current job as Production Manager for the Shalin Liu Performance Hall in Rockport Ma keeps him in the presence of fine acoustic music new and old, and able to work with his heroes and up and coming artists alike.
