An Evening with Local Folk Friday, August 18, 5:30 pm Manship Artists Residency and Dan King & Friends present an Evening of Folk Music curated from the Gloucester 400+ Manship Folk Project. The latter collaboration evolved in recognition of Gloucester’s rich music scene - past and present. Conceived by native son, musician, and producer Dan King, this local Folk Project is presented as a celebration of the phenomenal talent of the musicians who generously share their incredible gifts and who live among us today. Gloucester’s Folk Volume One was recorded, photographed, and produced at the Manship Artists Residency in the Fall of 2021 and 2022 during the pandemic.
